Kole started working on the "other side of the table" back in 2015, by writing and directing his own one-act play as a part of Fifth Street Players inaugural season! The theatre troupe is a student startup theatre company at East Carolina University, of which Kole still claims roots.
In Kole's travels, he has always been drawn to theatre and has been lucky enough to have more opportunities outside of just performing. Over the years Kole has had chances to direct, choreograph, fight direct and assistant music direct professionally. Kole has been a part of the Artistic Staff at Stagedoor Manor in the Catskills of New York in the 2022 Summer Session 2 as the Director/Choreographer for Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, he has also worked as the Director, Choreographer, and Fight Director at the Allenberry Resort in Boiling Springs, Pennsylvania for their Murder Mystery Weekend show Recipe for Murder in 2018, Adjudicated the Florida Thespian Festival (District 9) in 2021, and was the Director/Choreographer for the Lost Colony's TYA production of Jingle Arrgh the Way circa 2017 at the Sound Stage in Manteo, North Carolina.
Kole has also been lucky enough to collaborate with multi-talented artists on various projects over the years including full length original musicals, whether they are in workshop stage or fully developed performances. Some of these people include Abby Corrigan, Matt Mitchell, Tyler Griffin, Michael Tahaney, Amanda Yoder, Lisette Glodowski, and others.
